Smirnoff Vodka Ad Campaign: Be whoever you want

Advertising agency: S4 Advertising Agency

Pretty funny campaign, if you drink the entire bottle you become superman.

I find the blatant honesty of this ad to be utterly brilliant. It’s just too bad that you would never be able to use this in Australia.

An absolutely shocking campaign that is truly brilliant. These images are of actual human rights abuse victims taken by traveling journalists form a variety of countries that have been placed into Switzerland’s surroundings. The shock of seeing these individuals right in front of the public eye certainly shed new light on the issue and caused a global stir.

Campaign: Not here, but now
Agency: Walker, Switzerland Via

This campaign reminds me of a single, simple  adage: a picture speaks a thousand words. Sans copy these executions would still stop you in your tracks; the sole role of the words here is to reinforce the fact that there is way to keep such scenes from becoming reality.

I’m Sold: Oh man

Young love. Puppy love. Unrequited love. Brotherly love. Call it what you will, there’s no escaping it, no denying it. You haven’t got an ounce of it. But that doesn’t matter, you’re a man. A man’s man. A man about a town. You’re not some love sick clown. Then again, you’re alone. So very, very alone. Stuck forever in your own one man show. You can choose to be stoic, stubborn even. Or you could choose to throw your manhood in the wind. You’ve got nothing else to lose. Lynx, separating the men from the married.

I’m Sold: Walk On

It’s Wednesday, hump day, a bad day.  The weekend is two days too far. It’s too early in the week to be hitting a bar. You grab your jacket, some pants & that same old pair of shoes that have carried you near & far. Your eyes remain glued to those shoes, as you slip them on, as you walk the dimly lit street, as you take a breather on an idle park bench. It’s amazing how one walk with these two shoes makes the last three days seem like nothing. Look on the down side. Kick on with Cons.
